External elements are trying to spread chaos in tribal areas, PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that external elements in tribal areas are trying to spread chaos.A meeting on energy, higher education, health and development projects was held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, to review the pace of development projects, especially in the integrated tribal areas.

Officials told the Prime Minister in a briefing that the required funds from the Ministry of Finance have been ensured to ensure uninterrupted progress of development projects in the integrated areas.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the people of the united areas are conscious, there is priority of the government for equipping construction and development and other parts of the country.

Imran Khan said that the government is fully aware that some external elements are trying to spread chaos in these areas. We have to work with the public to thwart the conspiracies of such external elements. That the people of the integrated areas should be fully informed of the development projects and efforts made to solve the problems and be fully involved in the whole process.

The Prime Minister said that investment in education and especially higher education is the top priority of the government. In this regard, the government will make every effort to meet the legitimate needs of the educational institutions.

During a briefing on the issues and their needs of health institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Imran Khan directed the Secretary Planning to meet the requirements of Rs.

Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized that clean drinking water supply schemes should be completed on priority basis in different areas while a national policy regarding solid waste management needs to be formulated across the country. Together, the process of formulating a national solid waste management policy should be initiated to ensure the cleanliness of the cities.
